Real Casa de Moneda de Segovia
2025
A new digital remusealisation that renews the visitor experience at one of Europe's most important historic mints.
The Real Casa de Moneda in Segovia reopened in December 2025 with a new digital remusealisation that transforms the visit into a more immersive and accessible experience. The project updates the museum's content through audiovisual and interactive resources that bring visitors closer to the history of one of Europe's most important historic mints.
Throughout the visitor route, AI-generated avatars have been incorporated into the portraits of the kings, alongside interactive touchscreens, new projections, and lighting and sound systems that allow visitors to dynamically explore the minting process, the history of money, and Segovia's international significance as both a production centre and a symbolic landmark.
The new remusealisation embraces a clear and contemporary narrative, designed for diverse audiences, combining historical rigour with a rich sensory experience. This permanent exhibition connects heritage and innovation, inviting visitors to discover the past through a contemporary and accessible perspective.
