Luminaire for the nave of the church of the San Telmo Museum.

Luminaire Design

Museo de San Telmo

2011

Luminaire designed for indirect, general and emergency lighting in the nave of the church of the San Telmo Museum. It is also designed to support audio systems.

In view of the number of functions it had to contain and the necessary reversibility of the installations in a historic space, this simple and functional steel support system was devised. The chamber under the floor was used to lay the necessary cabling. Stability is achieved by means of a thin post that is embedded in the grooves of the ashlars of the columns or walls.

Work carried out: Luminaire design, lighting design.

Photographs: José Luis de la Parra.
