2021

An exhibition that summarised the career of Mabi Revuelta through the recreation of the “Immortal” game played between Adolf Anderssen and Lionel Kieseritzky in 1851.

The museography of the exhibition was inspired by the chess set designed by Marcel Duchamp, with straight-cut white structures and the inclusion of elements high lighted in primary colours The opening began in the courtyard with the projection of the films “Acromáticas” and continued in the corridor with a chronological succession of various works by the Bilbao artist following the four periods of the game (romant ic, scientific, hypermodern and dynamic). The end of the game opened in the side rooms with various installations that reflected on art as a driving force for social change, art education and the permeability of genres.

Work carried out: Production and assembly of museography, lighting and audiovisual materials.
