Exhibition production

Palacio de San Telmo - Acción Cultural Española (San Sebastián)

2021

Exhibition commemorating the 500th anniversary of the first round-the-world voyage made by the ship Victoria, captained by Ferdinand Magellan and Juan Sebastian el Cano.

This exhibition commemorated the three-year round-the-world voyage based on its main milestones: From the nautical competition and the preparations, to the crossing of the Pacific Ocean and the turbulent return to the port of departure. All this within an immersive museography that simulated the maritime voyage by means of historical objects, audiovisual materials and dioramas. The project carried out at the San Telmo Palace was an adaptation of the exhibition we had previously organised at the Archive of the Indies (Seville).

Work carried out: Production and assembly of museography, lighting and audiovisual materials.

Photographs: José Luis de la Parra.
