The installation “We Are Living in the Best of Times. We are Beginning to Build Paradise”, created by the German artist of Ukrainian origin, Aljoscha, in this nineteenth-century palace, is the result of a dialogue between the two. He says that “before I start any installation, I always try to feel the space around me to get an idea of what kind of form might make me happy or be interesting enough”. The works appear in the rooms or in corners of the space, catching the viewer by surprise in each room.

Intervento, which had installed the lighting in all the rooms of the palace in 2014, was commissioned to design the lighting for this exhibition. An interesting experience in which the light conceived for and adapted to the historical space was in harmony with the enhancement of works that interact with the light through their material constitution, their morphology and transparency.
