Lighting of the Military Cathedral.

Churches

Arzobispado Castrense y Fundación Endesa

2015

The church of the Sacramento was designed by Gómez de la Mora and completed in 1744.

The work consisted of changing all the lighting to LED, which has meant a 50% reduction in the previous power consumption.
As in many of the historic buildings we work on, a specific luminaire was designed to replace the chandeliers that served as the general lighting system in the nave and transept. The quality of the resulting lighting, as well as the balanced distribution of the light, gives a striking visual balance. It goes without saying that all the recommendations for the conservation of the works of art contained in the building have been taken into account. All the lighting is warm with the same colour temperature (3000K) and the colour rendering is excellent.

Work carried out: Lighting design, production and installation.
