2017

The exhibition presents a reinterpretation of the copy or reproduction of the Greek canon, through a set of canonical works of classical art adapted by the artist to the new aesthetic and moral guidelines of society.

The exhibition, organised by the Office of Culture and Tourism of the Government of Madrid, in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando and the National Museum of Sculpture of Valladolid, had an extraordinary public response with a clear objective: to show visitors how such a place could exist and what life in the camp was like, and thus demonstrate the dangers of hatred and intolerance.

For this exhibition, we sought an intimate but undramatic lighting that would not add more than the content itself revealed, while respecting the high conservation requirements of the items on display.

Work carried out: Production and assembly of museography and lighting.

Photographs: José Luis de la Parra.
