An exhibition project that brings the L8 extension closer to the public through audiovisual and interactive resources, offering an accessible narrative about infrastructure, territory and mobility.

The L8 Extension Citizen Information Centre of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya, located in the "El Vagó" building within the Escola Industrial campus in Barcelona, was conceived as a public information and mediation space linked to the extension works of the railway line between Plaça Espanya and Gràcia. Promoted by the Departament de Territori, Habitatge i Transició Ecològica in collaboration with the Ajuntament de Barcelona, the centre aims to keep the public informed about the progress of the works, minimise the impact of mobility disruptions, and provide a space for dialogue and community participation.

The exhibition project is structured around a series of thematic sections devoted to the railway infrastructure, the different construction phases, the surrounding territory and the citizen experience. It incorporates audiovisual and interactive resources, together with a video mapping installation that presents the route and the urban transformations associated with the new line. The intervention transforms an information centre into an accessible and engaging interpretive experience, designed to help visitors understand the technical complexity and urban impact of this major transport infrastructure.

Work carried out by Intervento: concept development, graphic, exhibition, lighting and audiovisual design, video mapping and interactive installations, programming, production, installation and commissioning of the audiovisual systems.
