Exhibition project in memory of the “Montjuïc Amusement Park”.

The aim of the exhibition project was to recover the memory of the “Montjuïc Amusement Park”, giving an account of its history, from its most glorious period to its decline in Olympic Barcelona.

On arriving at the exhibition, visitors were introduced to the political and social context of the time of its creation, when the park formed part of a propaganda campaign that sought to offer an open-minded and modern image of the Franco dictatorship. This space has a vintage look, set in the 1960s, in which wallpaper and patterns are used as a reminder of the decor of the period. In a second room, the history and characteristics of the park were presented in a more festive atmosphere, full of vibrant colours and resources typical of an amusement park, such as light and sound. For the graphic communication of the exhibition, we collaborated with the illustrator Toni Lirio, a well-known researcher of the aesthetics of the park's attractions.

Work carried out: Conceptualisation. Museographic design, graphic design, lighting design. Production and assembly.
