Museographic proposal for the remodelling and extension of the permanent exhibition of the “Museum of Carlism”. Update consisting of the remodelling of the permanent exhibition and its expansion in the cloister area, maintaining the same aesthetic characteristics and qualities as the existing design. The project included the improvement of the lighting.

The museographic project for the remodelling and expansion of the permanent exhibition of the Museum of Carlism was based on respecting the architecture of the space, without concealing the monument at any time, and maintaining the aesthetics, qualities and finish of the existing museography. The proposal included the replacement of graphic supports to make them fully accessible, the renovation of part of the permanent exhibition, the extension towards the cloister and the remodelling of the lighting with the implementation of an LED system based on aesthetic, energy efficiency and preventive conservation criteria. A Natural Lighting Factor (NLF) study was carried out beforehand, on the basis of which display cases and original elements were rearranged, and methacrylate sheets were installed in the courtyard in order to create a visual play that would prevent the direct access of sunlight, while at the same time maintaining the view of the sky.

Work carried out: Museographic design, graphic design and lighting design. Technical Direction.
